Hey! My name is Nicolas Hinman, and this is my website.
A little bit about me: I’m 25 years of age and was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. I graduated from Spokane Falls Community College for Digital Media Production. A part of that was an internship at Z Nation: Season 4. I’ve done a scattering of different videos (music videos, short films, documentary, interview, etc). For the past 3.5 years, I was working at North Church as the Communications Production Director.
As for the music side of things, I just love music! I’m not apart of an amazing, touring band. I’m not some amazing music writer. I just love playing and listening to music! I jam on guitar, bass, cello, and whatever instrument that comes up. That’s moved over into a lot of music videos. I’ve done media for bands like LADS, Mountains In The Sea, Ray Badness, and Kaylee Goins.
Why did I chose to label myself as media? I love all forms of media, and that can range anywhere from video, photography, social media, music, and whatever comes out in the future! My passion isn’t just in artistic mediums though. A big part of what I do is listening and understanding a person's story and choosing the right medium and audio visual materials to tell it effectively. In my work, I don’t just create a product. I form a relationship that is based upon shared meaning and shared goals!
